The unit is in charge of managing construction wastes, controlling wastes with avian flu pollutants, emergent disposals against pollution events, supervising both public and private wastes disposal yards, allowing, monitoring, auditing and managing the import, export, pass-by and transit permits of wastes.
Tainan industrial facilities generate and dispose of approximately three hundred fourteen thousand tons of Incombustible solid waste each year, such as organic chemicals, inorganic chemicals, primary iron and steel, plastics and resin manufacturing, stone, clay, sludge, ash, glass and concrete products etc.
Commercial, or industrial waste is often a significant portion of solid waste, even in small cities and suburbs. In contrast to most commercial and industrial material is usually collected by the private sector, and Tainan city have been carefully to target this waste stream for treatment 、recovery and reuse.
