Single-armed houses, or half court houses, are a kind of unique Anping residential structure, and the Wei family house is one of the better preserved residences currently found in Anping. Three generations of the Wei ancestors were extraordinary naval officers. According to the elders in Anping, at its peak, the family has 20 people living in the nearly 53 square-meter house! Yet within this limited space, each living space is still allocated rather reasonably. The Wei ancestral house is located within the winding lands and alleys of Anping, take care not to get lost when you visit!
