Built in 1807 during the Ch’ing Dynasty, Sanling Temple was originally the temple of the Village Deity. Later when the temple was renovated at the end of Ch’ing Dynasty, they also invited Protector Lord from the Ma Clan to be worshipped here and renamed the temple as “Sanling Temple”.
