Hongji Temple is the oldest temple in Anping. The deities later worshipped in here were temporarily settled on top of Kunyu Hill when they were building the temple in 1661. Hongji Temple is located at No.3, Lane 40, Yunhe Road in Jincheng Village. The current temple underwent renovation in 1992, and is the place of worship for the Protector Lords from the Jin Clan, the Wen Clan and the Chi Clan.
