Located on the busy Anping Road, the construction of Guandi Temple began in 1968 and completed in 1972. Anping has numerous historical temples that are several hundred years old; however, Guandi Temple is a unique one – it is an I Kuan Tao temple, which is quite uncommon in the area.
A culture building was completed in 2008 by the Guandi Temple association, offering a space where art, culture, and charity events can be held. The temple is also vigorously promoting Chinese culture and music and has seen much success.
