The Jhongjheng Commercial District is located in the business district of the West Central District of Tainan city. It is the first organized commercial street, whose prosperity brought the area the name of Yinzuo. Under the zealous assistance and guidance of The Ministry of Economic Affairs (Commercial and Industrial Services) the shops were aggregated and modern marketing was introduced to upgrade the management of this area, while conserv-ing its original cultural features. Through careful landscaping, the construction of pedestrian paths, and the holding of other tourism promotion activities, shopping can go hand in hand with leisure, and consequently business opportunities are recreated for the Jhongjheng Commercial District.
