Features
Renli Village is located between the area west of Shangdi Temple and Section 2 of Jhongshan Road (Pronvicial Freeway 173). Its area of jurisdiction includes Eliaozai and Pukuzai.
Eliaozai (Oyster Huts): This area earned its name from oyster farmers' huts built near the Fonggang Lagoon.
Pukuzai: Currently located around Wu Cheng-en Village. Pukuzai was earlier known as Daku (big pond).
Xiaying Elementary School was constructed in this area after World War II. Villagers were hopeful that their children would become learned and benevolent administrators, giving rise to the saying that this is a village of Benevolent (ren) People that Values Inner Benevolence, which was eventually incorporated into its name of Renli Village
